Niagara Region PTA Reflections Awards
Niagara Region PTA is excited to share the results of this year’s Reflections contest. Students were invited to interpret the theme, Show Your Voice! They could use dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, or visual arts.
As we continue to recover from the
pandemic, we were happy to see participation nearly double. Last year, we
had 11 entries from 2 PTA units. This year, Niagara Region received 20
entries from 4 PTA units.
Judges used a scoring rubric to
review each piece. Entries that received the Award of Excellence advanced
to the New York State PTA contest. Our region sent 16 entries to NYS
PTA. You’ll find all the details in the attached awards list.
Niagara Region PTA will host a
Reflections Celebration in the spring to recognize all the students who
advanced to the region contest. Please share these results with your
Reflections artists and let them know we’ll be in touch about the
celebration.
